My passion for being a therapist stems from my belief in each person’s innate capacity for healthy growth and change. The human experience is complex; We need connection and understanding to navigate it to the best of our ability and I am beyond grateful to accompany my clients at any given phase of their journey. I have had the privilege of assisting children, families, teens, and adults in transforming their lives by reclaiming (and sometimes discovering) their sense of self and helping them strive to reach their goals. My current practice mainly involves working with individuals ages 13 and older. In order to effectively assist my clients in gaining clarity and authenticity on their route to healing, I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices to best suit the needs of each individual client, honoring each person’s culture and preferences. I specialize in and hold an additional credentialing in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am currently pursuing further credentialing in treating grief. I completed my undergraduate degree with a Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Missouri. I completed graduate school and received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in Indianapolis, Indiana. My husband and I have two kids and we love the outdoors and exploring the beautiful state we live in.
